We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at a busy lawnmower and outdoor power equipment store. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engine equipment while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated throughout the day
- Must provide your own tools
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

- Previous experience working on small engines
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, blade sharpening, and belt replacements
- Accurately identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and parts needed
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
