About The Position
Marshall Cleaning Service is looking for an experienced, dependable Part-Time Small Engine Maintenance & Repair Technician to help keep our equipment maintained, serviced, and ready to work. This is a great opportunity for a mechanic, small-engine technician, retired technician, or experienced handyman looking to earn additional income without committing to a traditional work schedule. The schedule is very flexible, allowing you to make your own hours. Work can often be completed after hours, evenings, weekends, or whenever it fits your schedule, as long as equipment is repaired and returned to service within a reasonable timeframe. This could be an excellent second job or side-income opportunity for the right person.
Requirements
- Experience with small engine maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Able to identify problems and recommend practical repairs
- Organized and able to communicate equipment needs
- Must have your own tools
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical problems
- Repair and maintain small engines and equipment
- Oil changes, filters, belts, hoses, spark plugs and general service
- Troubleshoot equipment that is not operating properly
- Make minor mechanical repairs as needed
- Help identify parts needed for repairs
- Keep equipment dependable, safe and ready for our crews
