About The Position

The Martindale-Brightwood Community Development Corporation: Small Business
Support Intern strengthens the local business ecosystem by supporting outreach,
relationship-building, and community programs. This role focuses on ecosystem
mapping, neighborhood business directory development, and providing logistical
support for workshops and virtual meetings. The ideal candidate is organized,
tech-savvy, and committed to empowering local small businesses and neighborhood
economic growth.

Requirements

• Interest in community engagement, program coordination, or business support.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel, Canva, CRM systems, Zoom).
• Comfortable conducting outreach and occasional fieldwork.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Passionate about small business growth, community development, and neighborhood improvement initiatives.
