This is an onsite role based at Nextiva’s Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256). In-Office Expectation: This role is expected to work onsite five days per week, supporting a highly collaborative, in-person team environment. As a Commercial / SB Account Executive at Nextiva, you're at the heart of empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses with 20 employees or less, helping them build amazing relationships with their customers, simplify operations, and unlock real growth. Through Nextiva’s game-changing Unified-CXM platform, you’ll deliver personalized, AI-powered experiences across voice, video, collaboration, SMS, and surveys, creating lasting customer impact every day.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven inside sales success in a fast-paced, high-activity environment.
  • Proven success managing pipelines in Salesforce CRM with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in consultative selling and discovery, aligning Nextiva solutions directly to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create urgency, maintain momentum, and rapidly progress deals to close.
  • Curiosity and excitement in using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to level up your sales prep, pitch, and performance.
  • Commitment to disciplined documentation and rigorous operational execution.

  • 1+ years selling UCaaS, CCaaS, SaaS, PaaS, or similar tech solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain disciplined, high-energy outbound activity to fill your pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed your monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Lead engaging, high-quality discovery conversations to uncover customer goals, pain points, and desired business outcomes, becoming a trusted advisor right from the start.
  • Clearly communicate Nextiva’s value, driving urgency and excitement around solutions that help customers grow revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline operations.
  • Manage deals proactively, swiftly moving opportunities forward by setting clear next steps, timelines, and expectations.
  • Deliver compelling, outcome-focused product demos tailored to each customer, showcasing how Nextiva’s solutions will transform their business.
  • Keep your pipeline and Salesforce documentation spotless, enabling accurate forecasting and proactive decision-making.
  • Regularly use powerful AI tools (ChatGPT, Nextiva’s internal resources) to sharpen your pitch, refine your discovery, overcome objections, and accelerate your sales cycle.
  • Constantly experiment with new AI-powered tools and techniques to enhance your productivity, customer engagement, and selling effectiveness.
