Responsible for making sound credit decisions regarding credit extensions and credit limits to maximize profitability while minimizing credit risk and losses. Maintains accurate, current financial information on existing and prospective customers and uses data-driven analysis to guide credit and risk-related decisions that support the organization. In addition to core credit responsibilities, this role develops, evaluates, and enhances general business processes (non-manufacturing) to improve overall operational effectiveness. Applies process definition, improvement, and design methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Creates documentation to support analysis and improvement efforts, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap analyses. Plans and implements quality assurance and compliance processes and may assist in developing training or change-management materials related to new or updated procedures. This role supports the BPQ goal of fostering a continuous improvement mindset, driving automation, digitalization, and process optimization to strengthen efficiency, effectiveness, and organizational performance. The position supports both U.S. and Canadian operations, including the review and adjudication of Canadian credit applications and management of the Canadian credit portfolio. The incumbent must be able to effectively communicate with dealers, customers, and business partners in both English and French.
