Requirements
- One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 or Human Resource Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Successful completion of the Pennsylvania Management Associate program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Two years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes one year of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Be able to perform essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Examine certifications and contract details to ensure they meet policies, laws, and regulations
- Build productive connections with businesses and purchasing staff to support equal access
- Provide guidance, outreach, and education to small businesses at events and workshops
- Complete calculations and review specifications to set participation goals for contracts
- Assist small businesses with certification processes and review documents for eligibility
- Check subcontract agreements and reports to verify alignment with contract requirements
