About The Position

We are working with an established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in the Greater Cincinnati area seeking an experienced Small Animal Surgeon to join its growing team. This is an opportunity for a surgeon who wants to practice advanced medicine in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support, sophisticated diagnostics and technology, and the resources to continue building a high-level surgical service. Board certification is preferred, but it is not necessarily a requirement for the right doctor. A highly experienced veterinarian with substantial small animal surgical experience may also be considered. This is more than simply stepping into another surgery position. The hospital is looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing specialty team, practice high-level medicine, and have meaningful influence over the continued development of the surgical service. For the right veterinarian, there is also a path toward future ownership, providing an opportunity to participate more deeply in the long-term success of the practice.

Requirements

Holds or is eligible to obtain appropriate veterinary licensure
Significant experience performing advanced small animal surgery
Substantial surgical experience and demonstrated clinical capability (if not board-certified or residency-trained)
