About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas. Located in Mandan, ND, this 41-bed Critical Care Hospital specializes in providing long-term acute care services to patients who are recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The patient population often includes individuals requiring critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment, fostering close relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
  • Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
  • Functions under physician’s orders.
