About The Position

The Slotting Coordinator is responsible for organizing and optimizing warehouse slotting locations to improve efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy. This role works closely with warehouse operations, inventory control, and leadership teams to ensure products are stored in the most effective locations based on volume, movement, and operational needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to analyze data and make operational recommendations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as necessary.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
Ability to work occasional evening or night shifts to support operational needs.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain experience preferred.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update product slotting assignments within the warehouse.
Analyze inventory movement and recommend slotting changes to improve efficiency.
Coordinate product relocations and warehouse re-slotting projects.
Monitor inventory trends and work with operations teams to optimize picking paths.
Conduct warehouse audits to ensure slotting accuracy and compliance.
Review space utilization and identify opportunities to improve storage capacity.
Support inventory control processes and investigate location discrepancies.
Communicate slotting updates and changes to warehouse personnel.
Assist with special projects, warehouse reorganizations, and seasonal volume adjustments.
Provide support during occasional night warehouse activities, including inventory moves, layout changes, and operational transitions.
Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures.
