About The Position

The Coordinator, Slotting will support an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties. This role is responsible for utilizing Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors. The position involves performing accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet. The Slotting Coordinator will monitor, research, and respond to Slot Check inquiries, support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product, and support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage. Additionally, the role requires performing regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways) and communicating daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors, or safety concerns. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior slotting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
  • Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
  • XATA and Checkpoint experience.

Responsibilities
