About The Position

This is a 1st Shift Slotter position working Monday-Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour. The role involves tracking inbound and outbound inventory, reconciling counts, and utilizing inventory control methods like JIT and FIFO. The Slotter will ensure items are received and stored properly, provide accurate inventory information to customers, and manage stock levels to meet demand efficiently. This position also requires direct collaboration with management to report on stock flow and compile inventory information for decision-making, including restocking needs. A key requirement is the ability to operate a Reach Truck or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Tracking inbound and outbound inventory to monitor flow and stock levels
Reconciling inventory to ensure computer counts match physical counts
Developing and utilizing industry-standard inventory control methods, such as just-in-time (JIT) or first-in, first-out (FIFO) approaches
Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored
Provide accurate information on inventory to customers to guide them in their choice of items to order
Review balance of inventory and count the items in stock
See to proper inventory to ensure customers’ demands are met in the most efficient manner obtainable
Work directly with management to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow
Compile inventory information and present it to management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock, and so on
Operate the Reach Truck or be willing to learn
