About The Position

Performs repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on slot machines on the casino floor or in the Slot Repair Shop. Ensures slot machines are in good working order and complies with applicable policies, procedures, and internal and external regulations. Provides excellent guest service through pleasant, friendly, and professional communication.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience with slot machines and associated equipment.
• Formal electronics training.
• Advanced electronics knowledge, including surface-mount soldering and desoldering, using test equipment to repair video monitors, and troubleshooting and repairing circuit boards used in slot equipment.
• At least two years of experience as a slot technician or equivalent training and education.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain all local, state, and federal regulatory permits required for the position.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to move throughout the casino and work calmly under stress when business volume increases.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Must tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on slot machines as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with slot machine moves.
• Identify and resolve guest concerns.
• Participate in departmental brainstorming meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
