About The Position

Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of slot machines, slot systems, and related equipment; perform routine maintenance on machines in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. This role involves diagnosing and repairing technical problems with slot machines and related equipment, performing routine maintenance according to manufacturer specifications, and troubleshooting issues with the ACSC slot system and central control computer server system. The Slot Technician will also install, remove, and modify slot machines and related equipment, prepare machines for play, and generate computer reports related to slot performance and maintenance. Additionally, the role requires assisting with guest service problems and inquiries.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions and manuals
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
  • Must have the ability to write reports
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
  • Intermediate computer knowledge; competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must qualify for any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree in a technical or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical or computer related field or prior experience with slot machines
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with slot machines and related equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on all slot machines and related equipment per manufacturer's specifications
  • Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with ACSC slot system and the central control computer server system
  • Install, remove, and modify slot machines and related equipment as directed, including full preparation of slot machines for play
  • Generate computer reports relating to slot performance and maintenance, as required
  • Assist with guest service problems and inquiries
