About The Position

Ensure superior customer service to our customers, internal/external alike. Lead fellow Technicians, Shift and Floor Supervisors to address problems with Electronic Gaming Machines. Analyze reports on Electronic Gaming Machines to determine irregularities. Oversee all network and fiber optic systems follow AIE or IEEE standards. Maintain a record of all network information to include IP, locations and VLAN settings, all spare software to include backup of Server Based Gaming software. Install and maintain all communications to electronic slot machines and oversee all Electronic Gaming Machines, network equipment, signs and all other equipment is powered correctly and not exceeding UL or ANSI standards. Perform precision soldering techniques on through hole and surface mount components. Ensure all documentation to support Electronic Gaming Machines operations are filled out and maintained in accordance with policies and regulations. Test and document variances in slot accounting and transactions when variances occur. Ensure all variances +/- 3% are checked and verified to ensure the integrity of all Electronic Gaming Machines and systems. Ensure safe and effective operation of shop equipment including hand tools, soldering/desoldering stations, power tools, electronic test equipment Assist Shift and Floor Supervisors with Jackpot verifications over $20,000.00, verify payouts on Wide Area or Multi-Site progressives and assist with disputes. Maintain floor system and machine on an Auto-Cad is up-to-date and correct. Assist Information Technology Department with all procedures and regulations regarding Server Based Gaming remote access and integrity. Assist with all budgets, financial and capital purchases each year. Ensure purchases are accurate and within yearly budget. Keep stock of all parts ordered, RMA’s, inventory and requesting of parts ordered. Must be able to look up parts on web and identify parts correctly. Able to negotiate prices on components and parts. Try to ensure parts are in stock to keep down time as minimal as possible.

Requirements

  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead Technicians, Shift and Floor Supervisors.
  • Proficiency in analyzing reports on Electronic Gaming Machines.
  • Knowledge of AIE or IEEE standards for network and fiber optic systems.
  • Experience maintaining network information (IP, locations, VLAN settings).
  • Experience with backup of Server Based Gaming software.
  • Skill in installing and maintaining communications to electronic slot machines.
  • Understanding of UL or ANSI standards for power and equipment.
  • Proficiency in precision soldering techniques (through hole and surface mount components).
  • Ability to ensure documentation is filled out and maintained according to policies and regulations.
  • Skill in testing and documenting variances in slot accounting and transactions.
  • Ability to verify variances +/- 3% to ensure system integrity.
  • Familiarity with safe operation of shop equipment (hand tools, soldering/desoldering stations, power tools, electronic test equipment).
  • Ability to assist with Jackpot verifications over $20,000.00.
  • Ability to verify payouts on Wide Area or Multi-Site progressives.
  • Ability to assist with disputes.
  • Skill in maintaining up-to-date Auto-Cad drawings of floor systems and machines.
  • Ability to assist Information Technology Department with Server Based Gaming procedures and regulations.
  • Experience with budgets, financial and capital purchases.
  • Ability to ensure purchases are accurate and within budget.
  • Skill in managing stock of parts, RMA’s, inventory, and requesting parts.
  • Ability to look up parts on the web and identify them correctly.
  • Negotiation skills for components and parts pricing.
  • Focus on minimizing downtime by ensuring parts are in stock.
