About The Position

The Slot Floor Attendant is responsible for ensuring the general security and safety of the slot floor, assisting guests with machine operations and jackpots, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, accurate money handling, and a thorough understanding of machine operations and company policies. The attendant will also be responsible for reporting malfunctions, handling minor repairs under supervision, and enforcing regulations such as Title 31.

Must have or be able to obtain a MS Gaming Commission badge

Responsibilities

Report to work as scheduled.
Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
Stay informed about company and departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure general security of the floor and report suspicious activity.
Ensure security and safety of equipment and report dangerous conditions.
Handle money transactions accurately using designated techniques.
Generate and pay jackpots up to the designated limit.
Verify the accuracy of jackpots paid to guests.
Ensure the slot floor is clean, tidy, and inviting.
Complete all required paperwork accurately.
Possess a thorough knowledge of machine operation, malfunctions, and codes.
Assist guests with minor machine malfunctions.
Undertake limited technical duties under supervision.
Report any machine malfunctions to a Supervisor to ensure optimum operation and minimal downtime.
Be responsible and accountable for all keys issued.
Be responsible and accountable for radio equipment issued.
Do not carry out major technical repairs.
Have complete knowledge of all guest facilities.
Be polite and attentive to guest needs at all times.
Create a friendly, helpful, and welcoming atmosphere.
Promptly answer calls for assistance from guests and help them with machine-related issues.
Handle floor disputes or complaints diplomatically and escalate to Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
Establish close contact with good slot players and apply consistent treatment policies.
Be trained and regularly tested on Title 31 regulations.
Perform other tasks as requested by management.
