About The Position

Responsible for monitoring assigned slot area ensuring positive guest experience and maintaining transaction accuracy within established regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a basic math test.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must possess good money handling skills and basic math skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to be trained in the basic knowledge of slot machine functions including jackpot levels, payout procedures, pay table information, and basic machine repair techniques.
  • Must remain flexible with shifts and days off assignments.
  • Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
  • PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments.
  • Employees and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains confidentiality on all internal departmental matters, correspondence and proprietary data.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Maintain positive attitude and professional conduct towards guests and co-workers at all times and coordinate guest service needs with Supervisors and co-workers.
  • Monitor and perform activities in the assigned area, including responding to all guest service needs, interacting in a positive cordial manner, processing all gaming device transactions with accuracy per established policy/procedure, responding to any and all machine service indicators, repairing any minor machine malfunction, and insuring tidiness of assigned areas.
  • Access gaming device historical data, device option review and perform actions resulting in guest dispute resolution and/or proper machine function.
  • Accurately process proper forms in accordance with Title 31 requirements, company policy and Internal Control procedures.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection and respect in all guest/employee interaction.
  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire; display a high level of personal hygiene and adhere to personal appearance standards.
  • This position has signatory authority for jackpot transactions, tax reporting forms, machine access keys and other required verifications.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
