About The Position

As the largest bookmaker in the United States, Lakeside Book Company is looking for a Slitter Operator to join their team. This role will involve printing and moving finished products. Previous machine operating experience is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided. Advancement opportunities are available. The starting rate for this position is $19.15 per hour, with hours for the Day Shift, A Crew, from 6am to 6pm. The job is located at 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for the entire duration of your shift

Nice To Haves

• Previous machine operating experience is preferred
• 1+ years of experience operating machines
• Agree to participate in cross-training which includes achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a back-up to lateral and progressive roles, as needed.
