About The Position
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Slitter Operator. This position will be a 1st shift, Monday- Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime as required. The role is located in Tulsa, OK.
Requirements
- High School or GED Equivalent
- 2 Years in a Steel Service Center / Processing Environment
- Professional Business Attitude
- Superior Supervisory abilities
- Communication/Cooperative Interaction with Other Employees
- Computer data entry
- Proficient in Use of Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Tape Measure
- Proficient in Math
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Operation
Responsibilities
- Proficient in All Functions Required to Operate the Slitting Line
- Direct/Coordinate Slitter Helpers
- Assist in Set-ups and Changeover as Required
- Perform Quality Inspection Activities as Required
- Visual and /or Measured Inspection of Product for Damage or Defects
- Train with Plant Supervisor Training of Slitter Helpers
- Maintain High Level Safety Standards
- Maintain High Level Housekeeping Standards
