About The Position

Our Steel Service Center is currently looking to immediately fill a Slitter Helper position due to recent volume increases and demand for our specialized products and services. Candidates must have steel slitting experience!
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Past slitting experience
- Must be able to work any shift (morning, afternoon, night, graveyard)
- General computer knowledge
- Past experience in steel warehousing
- Ability to operate a forklift as needed
- Ability to read tape measure, micrometer, and caliper
Responsibilities
- Setup overarm on recoiler according to work order
- Setup slitter for accurate slitting according to work order
- Setup for burr free slitting
- Change slitter heads for job change over
