About The Position

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking Slitter Operators for their 2nd shift. This is an opportunity to join one of the top 25 flexible packaging companies in the U.S. with over 60 years of experience. The company offers a friendly, safe, clean work environment with low turnover. The position offers a starting pay of $20/hr, with work scheduled Monday-Friday from 3pm-11pm, and overtime as needed on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals.
Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.
Interpret and understand written information (orders, SOP’s, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.).
Palletization (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications).
Bagging of finished rolls.
Quality checks slit material.
Lay flat/measurement of slit web.
Print quality/print defects.
Roll/web tension and integrity.
Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
Spot and determine visual defects.
Cut out defects and splice together good material.
Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet press daily goal and schedule needs.
