Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital is seeking a Part Time Sleep Technologist to work the Night Shift, 20 hours per week. The Sleep Technologist will conduct nocturnal polysomnograms, initiate nasal CPAP, conduct Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, and score all types of tests performed. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an A-Step Program Certification, and board certification from the BRPT or ABSM. Colleagues who are not registered or are CRPSGTs at the time of hire are required to successfully pass the board examination within the first 18 months of the date of hire. The position involves gathering and setting up equipment, explaining procedures to patients, preparing patients for tests by applying electrodes, calibrating and monitoring machines, scoring records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The role also includes assisting with training, scheduling, and maintaining good rapport with patients and colleagues, while adhering to Trinity Health's Code of Conduct and confidentiality policies.
