The Sleep Technician is responsible for gathering and analyzing patient information, preparing and calibrating equipment, performing polysomnographic and other testing procedures, scoring polysomnographic records, and performing clerical duties. This role requires age-specific care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The technician works under the general supervision of a sleep technician 3, the medical director, or designee and may oversee and assist in training Sleep Technician 1.
