Intern Sleep Lab
About The Position
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is offering a Sleep Lab Internship! This is a paid 18-month, full-time internship with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts. Interns will learn and train under Certified Polysomnographic Technicians. Duties include checking patients in, completing detailed documentation and patient packets, setting up patients on sleep devices, monitoring patients during sleep studies, and communicating with the sleep and medical teams. Sleep studies include both day and night studies. Upon completion of the internship, the intern will obtain licensure to work independently.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent GED
- RPSGT certification required within 18 months of hire
