About The Position

Saratoga Medical Center (DBA Saratoga Ascend) is seeking a Full-time SLED (State Local and Educational) Sales Account Manager. This role is remote but requires 50% travel to sites and clients nationwide. The SLED Account Executive will be responsible for owning and expanding the company's healthcare-focused business within state, local, and education (SLED) markets. This involves growing existing contracts and securing new business with agencies and healthcare programs, acting as a liaison between clients and internal delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships in the public-sector healthcare space, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction and maintain a full pipeline.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in account management, business development, or client-facing sales, ideally in staffing, contact center services, or healthcare professional services.
  • A solid grasp of relationship management, pipeline development, and service delivery coordination.
  • Comfort juggling multiple accounts and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence presenting, negotiating, and building trust with new contacts.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide (50%+) to meet clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand a national book of SLED business, with healthcare as the primary focus.
  • Hunt new opportunities across state, local, education, healthcare, and adjacent commercial accounts.
  • Grow revenue through healthcare and IT staffing, contact center solutions, and related professional services.
  • Cultivate relationships with procurement leads, program managers, department heads, and other key decision-makers.
  • Own the client relationship end-to-end, including account reviews, issue resolution, and service coordination.
  • Partner closely with recruiting, operations, contracts, and leadership to ensure delivery matches sales.
  • Track solicitations, contract vehicles, agency priorities, and market shifts to identify future opportunities.
  • Contribute to proposal strategy, pricing discussions, and solutioning for new and existing pursuits.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the pipeline, account activity, and client feedback to inform growth planning.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as the business evolves.
