About The Position

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking energetic, safety-focused team members to help launch and operate our brand-new Sky Trail® ropes course and pavilion. This is more than a seasonal job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a premier adventure attraction designed to build confidence, create unforgettable memories, and serve families from across our region. As a Sky Trail Event Lead you will play a critical role in delivering an experience that is thrilling, welcoming, and above all, safe. In this role, you will support the YMCA mission by creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience at Sky Trail® events and parties!

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Meets Sky Trail health and physical requirements
Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities
Food Handlers Certification
Adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including weekends and non-business hour workdays
Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations
Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

Oversee and support food service, guest transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized facility
Oversee and support event and party set up, take down and guest experience
Lead and oversee the preparation and serving of food items while following all health and safety guidelines, as well as wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, and work areas
Process transactions and ticketing, ensure waivers are completed before issuing wristbands, and provide friendly, professional service to all guests
Assisting with inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition
Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
