About The Position

The skinning position sorts cattle mortalities following GMP's and removes the hide from cattle, cuts cattle into pieces, eviscerates, and removes CMPAF material as needed using hoists, lifts, bobcats, loaders, saws, shears, and knives. This role is crucial for processing cattle mortalities in a rendering facility.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

Slaughter house experience a plus.
Problem solving and time management skills.
Willingness to work in a team concept and high level of reliability.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of plant personnel.

Responsibilities

Operate bobcats, knives, hoists and saws to process cattle mortalities.
Sort cattle mortalities by age, remove hides, eviscerate, split, remove CMPAF material, and grind cattle mortalities into processing sizes.
Maintain good housekeeping before, after, and during each shift.
Follow all company policies and GMP's pertaining to the job requirements.
Perform other job duties as directed by the Plant Manager or Assistant Plant Manager.
Assure equipment and work area is clean after each shift.
Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
