About The Position
The Freeman Corporation is looking for experienced workers to join our second-shift production team in Winchester. As a Skilled Utility employee, you’ll put your equipment operation and material-handling skills to work supporting veneer manufacturing. We’re looking for people who work safely, take pride in doing the job well, and can adapt to changing production needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating industrial equipment, such as cranes, loaders, or forklifts
- A safety-focused approach to equipment operation and material handling
- Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a production team
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English sufficiently to understand safety information, follow job-related instructions, and complete safety documentation
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be at least 18 years old
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned industrial equipment safely, following required training and authorization
- Assist in different production areas as needs change
- Follow operating procedures and quality requirements
- Identify and report equipment problems or unsafe conditions
- Keep your work area clean and organized
