About The Position

Hawthorne House is seeking a Skilled Unit Manager - RN to join their team. This role is responsible for creating and managing an environment of care focused on patients, defining and elevating standards for patient care, training new staff, and providing leadership for the nursing team. Hawthorne House is a leading provider of skilled nursing care, skilled rehabilitation, memory-impaired living, and assisted living, serving the Freeport, Mid-Coast, and surrounding communities under the ownership of First Atlantic Healthcare.

Requirements

• State of Maine Nursing license
• Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills
• Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Excellent references
• Passing the Maine State Background Check
