About The Position

As a Skilled Tradesman, you help restore businesses after unexpected damage by providing solid workmanship when subcontractors are unavailable or not cost-effective. You support restoration and construction needs across service lines, with safety and quality as priorities. The role involves rotating among active projects whose priorities may change based on site and client needs. You review plans, confirm materials, prepare safe work areas, coordinate with your supervisor, document progress, keep paperwork organized, and prepare equipment for future dispatches. You may also respond to urgent calls and leave sites orderly for the next crew.

Requirements

Ability to work overtime and weekends and respond 24/7.
Basic set of tools.
Ability to obtain a Water Mitigation Certificate within one year.

Nice To Haves

Restoration or construction experience; training is available.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Support mitigation work, including water extraction, fire and mold remediation, light demolition, roof tarping, emergency board-ups, and setting or monitoring equipment.
Perform basic construction work, including painting, drywall installation, patching and texturing, trim, and interior finishes.
Load and unload materials and tools.
Prepare and clean jobsites.
Keep vehicles and tools ready for work.
Complete crew sheets, photos, daily field reports, work orders, and time and expense tracking.
Communicate needs to leadership and stay coordinated with the supervisor.
Review site plans, confirm material needs, and ensure work areas are ready and safe.
Stage gear for the next dispatch and leave the site orderly for the following crew.
