Requirements

Good math skills and strong skills reading blueprints
Able to use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor-lift & forklifts
Able to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs
Ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, measurements, and basic fabrication documentation
General construction activities & manual labor that include heavy lifting, grinding, painting the finished product & use of various power tools
Perform bolt-on assembly, hardware installation, component installation, and general mechanical assembly
Install and finish various wall and interior coverings, including plywood, drywall, and other specified materials
Perform surface preparation, grinding, cleanup, coating preparation, labeling, stenciling, and other finishing operations
Maintain an organized and clean work area and properly care for tools, equipment, and materials
