Skilled Trades Worker I - Parks
About The Position
This position performs skilled work in the new construction, remodeling, and repair maintenance of county parks and facilities. The role involves responding to work orders for repairs in county parks, including carpentry, painting, concrete work, and irrigation. Responsibilities also include assisting other staff in routine or corrective maintenance projects, performing scheduled playground inspections, managing materials, multiple work orders, purchasing cards, and maintaining county equipment. The position requires evaluating and communicating potential issues such as locating, calendar conflicts, and permitting, as well as creating and completing paperwork including work orders, inspection reports, invoices, and p-card receipts.
Requirements
- Graduation from High School or a G.E.D. Certificate.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in park-related maintenance.
Responsibilities
