About The Position

Requirements

• OEC / EMT / WFR certification
• English proficiency
• Expert skier ability across all terrain in all weather conditions
• Minimum age of 18+ or 21+ years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide and promote a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Respond to medical emergencies on the mountain.
• Transport injured guests off the mountain to the appropriate facility.
• Enforce safe skiing and riding practices and the Skier's and Rider's Responsibility Code.
• Perform chairlift and gondola evacuations.
• Assist injured guests on the mountain and administer first aid.
• Transport injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan.
• Perform sweeps at the end of the day to ensure all guests are safely off the mountain.
• Maintain trails and identify/mitigate hazards.
• Transport and set up mountain safety equipment.
• Transport supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need on skis.
• Participate in continued on-the-job training.
