About The Position

The Ski Patrol team is responsible for the safety of staff and guests on the mountain. Ski Patrol members are alert, dependable professionals who focus on safety and remain calm during incidents. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027 with full-time hours available. The starting pay range is $21.00 to $25.05 per hour. The position is for applicants at least 18 years old; housing is not available.

Requirements

• Pass the resort-sponsored Ski Patrol ski test and be capable of skiing all types of terrain in all weather conditions.
• Communicate fluently in English.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have excellent guest service skills.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and promote guest safety on varied terrain and in changing winter weather conditions.
• Assist injured or ill guests on the mountain and administer first aid.
• Transport injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan or support air-lift operations.
• Maintain trails, identify hazards, set up closures and safety materials, and address other impacts from the resort environment.
• Transport supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need on skis or a snowboard.
• Perform end-of-day closing procedures to ensure all guests are safely off the mountain.
• Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and resort policies.
• Assist with chairlift and guest evacuations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
