About The Position

LindenGrove Mukwonago, an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) for the Skilled Nursing Home (NOT CBRF). We offer assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled care on a beautiful campus. Reliable Attendance
Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
High school graduate or high school equivalency diploma.
Successful completion and certification of the State of Wisconsin approved Mediation Administration Assistant training program.
Be current on the State of Wisconsin nurse aide directory.
Be current on the federal nurse aid directory.
Current CPR Certification and ability to maintain.

Responsibilities

Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
Administers medications as prescribed and per healthcare policy.
Performs all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
Communicates changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse immediately and accurately.
Successfully completes required educational units annually.
Attends training sessions, staff meeting and in-services to stay current with information regarding drug therapies and healthcare processes.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
