About The Position

The Kraft Heinz Company is hiring a Skilled Machine Operator for its rectangle cup production area at the Mason, Ohio factory. The role involves general production duties in a food manufacturing environment, following strict quality and safety standards. Operators work with a team producing portion-sized rectangle cup condiments, sauces, jellies, and syrups. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; schedules may vary based on assigned work, and overtime is possible.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry 25–50 pounds regularly.
Outstanding attendance record.
Strong attention to detail, including identifying defects and adhering to quality standards.
Focus on safety and a history of practicing safe work habits.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and balance changing priorities.
Positive, team-focused attitude.
Ability to achieve a qualifying score on the job skills assessment after passing the interview.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a GMP or regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Operate filling and packaging equipment and make minor machine adjustments.
Complete machine setups, product hookups, changeovers, washouts, and roll changes.
Perform packaging of finished products, including making boxes and partitions, packing merchandise, and sealing cases.
Label finished cases and boxes with the correct identification and customer-specific information.
Place finished cases on pallets according to predetermined case placements.
Monitor cases to ensure correct weight and packaging components.
Monitor machine scrap and follow scrap procedures.
Record accurate hourly machine counts and monitor and respond to visual-board information.
Clean and rinse equipment during changeovers and keep the work area and station clean.
Complete paperwork accurately, including production work orders, downtime sheets, and weight checks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
