About The Position

Rogers Group is seeking a Skilled Laborer with CDL's to operate a water truck. This role is crucial for dust control, maintaining moisture content, and supporting grading operations on job sites. The position involves daily vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and assisting with various sitework activities such as grading, excavation, utility installation, and erosion control. The laborer will also operate hand and power tools, load/unload materials, and follow project plans under the direction of supervisors. A strong commitment to safety, adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations, and the ability to assist other crew members are essential.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating water trucks or other construction equipment preferred.
• Experience in heavy grading, sitework, road construction, or related construction activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a water truck to control dust, maintain moisture content, and support grading operations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with grading, excavation, utility installation, erosion control, and other sitework activities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and directions from supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA requirements.
• Assist other crew members with construction tasks as workload demands.
