About The Position

This job position includes the planning, picking, loading, and finalizing of finished goods trailers, and onsite/offsite driving responsibilities. For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $26.32 per hour. The schedule is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. This is a union position, covered under Teamsters Local 294 Union.

Requirements

Proficient in EWM/SAP system for warehousing and order management.
Proficient in Blujay TM system for trailer management.
Forklift license required.
Ability to perform daily forklift inspections.
Understanding of SQF requirements for documentation.
Knowledge of GMP and SQF requirements for work area cleanliness.
Understanding and adherence to all safety procedures.
Ability to wear proper PPE.
Must stay until job is completed or relieved.
Must perform any other assignments by a Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman.

Operate shrink-wrap machine when required.
Supply good pallets to all production lines if needed.
Work with Palletizers and Cooler staff to ensure an efficient operation and assist as needed.
Assist production floor as needed.

Responsibilities

Plan, pick, load, and finalize finished goods trailers.
Perform onsite/offsite driving responsibilities.
Utilize EWM/SAP system to place finished packaged products into open warehousing slots in a timely and safe manner, including "bin to bin" for better utilization.
Utilize EWM/SAP system to plan orders, allocate product based on FIFO and customer code requirements, and pick orders.
Load trailers with correct labels, amounts, code dates, and units, ensuring proper temperature prior to loading.
Ensure loads are clean, wrapped properly, placed on the trailer following correct load specifications, and finalize finished goods trailers.
Utilize Blujay TM system to gate trailers in and out, appoint loads, look up loads by reference numbers, and print dispatch reports.
Take cooler inventories and monitor cooler for proper temperatures.
Work directly with cooler load out/drivers, production, manufacturing, and WWTP personnel to ensure an efficient operation.
Perform daily forklift inspections.

Perform any other assignments by a Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman.
