About The Position
DPR Construction is looking for dependable, hardworking Skilled Laborers to support our commercial construction projects in Colorado (Denver and Colorado Springs). This is a great opportunity for someone with previous commercial construction experience who takes pride in doing quality work, working safely, and being a reliable team member. This role is focused on general labor support, housekeeping, material handling, and jobsite maintenance. Previous commercial construction experience is required.
Requirements
- Previous commercial construction experience is required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to use basic tools and perform general labor tasks safely.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as needed.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heights, dust, fumes, and loud jobsite conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping and cleanup tasks on active jobsites.
- Load and unload materials.
- Carry lumber and other materials to and from storage areas as directed.
- Receive materials from vendors.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support the field team.
- Operate basic hand tools and common power tools as directed.
- Support equipment operation when needed and when qualified.
- Work safely at all times. Safety is required and non-negotiable.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to help maintain production and project flow.
