The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC, dedicated to supporting children, seniors, and individuals with special needs through innovative community projects that foster lifelong skills, independence, and connection. Our current major focus is Zajac Ranch, a fully accessible camp in Mission, BC, for children and young adults with complex medical conditions and disabilities. Located on over 41 acres of beautiful, forested land on the shores of Stave Lake, Zajac Ranch provides life-changing summer camp experiences and welcomes school groups, community groups, and private rentals during the off-season. Revenue generated from rentals helps support our medical summer camp programs. Zajac Ranch is seeking a hands-on and reliable Skilled Facilities Worker to join our Facilities team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, varied work and takes pride in keeping buildings, grounds, and shared spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. The successful candidate may bring experience in general maintenance, carpentry, basic plumbing, repairs, painting, groundskeeping, handyman work, or other skilled trades. We understand that candidates may not have experience in every area listed below. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to contribute where their skills are best suited. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful camp environment where your work directly supports children and young adults with medical conditions and disabilities.
