About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Skilled Electrician to join our team Fibrebond team in Minden, LA! You will work an average of 54 hours per week (including OT) between 6 am - 4:30 pm. The hourly range for this position is $19.00-$28.00 per hour. Relocation is available to those living more than 50 miles from our Minden, LA site. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
  • Experience bending conduit.
  • Experience reading blueprints and using hand and power tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical skills certification.

  • Experience leading crews.

Responsibilities

  • Install both standard and more complex conduit and electrical components.
  • Read blueprints to determine consistent placement of all components
  • Lead crews.
  • Pull wire and/or cable for smaller gauge electrical circuits, low voltage alarms and signals, high-power large-gauge circuits through conduit and wireway.
  • Anchor and secure all equipment.
  • Ensure proper grounding.
  • Properly buss and torque gear.
  • Trouble shoot electrical problems.
