About The Position
A respected and growing commercial carpentry company is seeking a skilled carpenter to join their expanding team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone experienced in finished carpentry and commercial build-outs.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry required
- Ability to read basic plans, layouts, and measurements
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in an active construction environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and punctual
Responsibilities
- Assist with metal and wood framing for walls, partitions, and ceilings
- Install drywall, backing, blocking, and fixtures
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications
- Operate power and hand tools safely (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.)
- Install doors, hardware, trim, and other commercial interior components
- Assist with concrete formwork or demolition as needed
- Read and follow blueprints, layout marks, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain clean and safe commercial job sites
- Load, unload, and stage materials and tools
