About The Position
Griswold Home Care for NEPA is seeking experienced caregivers and home health aides who are confident, compassionate, and committed to handling more complex and demanding client situations. This role is specifically for weekend shifts, Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 8 PM, and is ideal for those who have cared for individuals with dementia, behavioral challenges, or advanced mobility needs.
Requirements
- 6+ months of professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Two professional references
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia or difficult client behaviors preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Assist clients with behavioral or cognitive challenges, including dementia
- Deliver compassionate companionship and engagement
- Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean environment
- Act decisively and calmly during unexpected events or emergencies
