About The Position

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing bathroom fixtures and surfaces with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse remodeling and new construction projects, utilizing your skills to create functional, beautiful bathrooms that exceed client expectations. This is a 1099 role and liability insurance is required.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with plumbing systems including fixture hookup and repair
- Knowledge of electrical wiring as it pertains to bathroom lighting and ventilation systems
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, drills) and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with plastering, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, restoration work and other related construction skills
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Liability insurance is required
Responsibilities
- Install bathroom fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, vanities, and cabinetry with attention to detail and adherence to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of plumbing, electrical components, and fixtures
- Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Perform caulking, sealing, plastering, flooring installation, and finishing work to achieve a polished look
- Conduct quality inspections during each phase of installation to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate schedules and ensure timely project completion
