About The Position

Constellis is seeking a motivated and analytical Fellow to join its Human Resources team for a 12-week immersive training program through the Department of War SkillBridge program. The program is intended for transitioning service members in their last 180 days of service and provides hands-on experience in core HR functions, including HR systems, data analytics, process improvement, and strategic business partnership. Fellows work alongside experienced HR professionals on real-world projects to develop practical skills for a career in Human Resources.

The program rotates through HR orientation and systems training, foundational HR education and process documentation, engagement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration, and an HR analytics project culminating in a final presentation and program review for leadership. Fellows also complete the SHRM Essentials of Human Resources course and receive mentorship and career transition guidance.

Requirements

• Be an active-duty U.S. military service member within 180 days of separation and eligible for the Department of War SkillBridge program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• A keen interest in human resources, systems, and data analysis.
• Professional demeanor, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
• No prior professional HR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support HR Business Partners in compiling and analyzing workforce data, preparing dashboards, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and audit employee information in HR systems such as ADP and UKG.
• Document workflows and collaborate with the HR team to streamline operational processes.
• Participate in meetings and shadow HR Business Partners to learn how HR strategy supports business execution.
• Complete the SHRM Essentials of Human Resources course.
• Develop and present a capstone analytics project on a key HR metric for leadership review.
• Support engagement initiatives, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with Recruiting and Payroll.
• Prepare a final program review for leadership.
