About The Position

As a Skill Builder at our Residential Supported Recovery Treatment Center located in Lafayette Indiana, you will be integral in providing a continuum of care, often following primary treatment for addictions recovery, for men and women to learn how to live their lives free from addiction and substance use and re-enter their communities. You will be the catalyst to rebuild their lives. Our commitment to whole person healthcare and your desire to make our communities better will make us an amazing Team! This is a day shift role working Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent with 2 years behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health related degree required
Meet all Indiana Association of Recovery Residences (INARR) Standards.
Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.
Drug screen, TB test, extensive background check, and fingerprinting are required of all Meridian employees.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred
Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of programs.
Oversee any Resident, Resident Manager and/or Senior Residents at facilities.
Assist with running community meetings.
Interview applicants and make recommendations on admittance of potential residents.
Perform intake for new clients admitted to the facility as needed.
Monitor status of client’s progress and compliance with program guidelines and document in writing in each client file.
Attend community related events and take part in all fundraising events.
Aid residents in connecting to community services and programs including transportation if necessary .
Serve on call 24 hours/day for emergencies as needed
Perform all other duties as requested.
