This role primarily involves the safe operation of a Skid Steer and routine production machinery, ensuring parts are produced within specifications and tolerances. The position also requires maintaining logs, reporting errors, performing basic equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
- Solid understanding of the production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Skid Steer.
- Operate mostly routine production machinery in accordance with specifications.
- Perform routine activities to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintain logs and records of units produced.
- Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
- Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
