The Ski Patrol Dispatcher I is responsible for receiving and disseminating information in an efficient manner to facilitate all relevant departments having access to details that will help them perform in their role and provide excellent guest service. Dispatchers monitor radio transmissions, demonstrate an understanding of terrain and operations, remain aware of current conditions and placement of resources across the mountain, assist in facilitating timely incident response, and prepare and maintain accurate records of operations and communications. The Ski Patrol Dispatcher I will provide primary medical care for guest requests in the Aid Room. Though most duties will be in an office environment, some tasks may involve skiing and traveling via snowmobile and/or side-by-side in a winter mountain environment. During slower periods, other duties may be assigned to assist Ski Patrol Office Coordinator, Ski Patrol Director, and other Mountain Operations.
