About The Position

Ski Patrol Dispatch coordinates patrol radio and phone traffic, communicates with appropriate departments during specific events, documents weather, hill conditions, significant events and guest incidents, and maintains patrol and mountain records through data entry. The role also assists with staff scheduling and communicates with the EMS system. Dispatch works with internal and external contacts, including resort staff, guests, emergency services, transportation agencies, and other listed organizations. Additional duties include cooperating with other departments, answering guests’ questions about the resort, and supporting the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall efficiency of the operation.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
• Working knowledge of the mountain and patrol operations.
• Proficiency with web-based applications and computer programs used to log and track incidents, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Zoll Emscharts, and Google Drive.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in emergency services is preferred.
