About The Position
This position ensures the safe and reliable electrical operation of lifts, with emphasis on proficiency, instruction, safety, and leadership in all areas of Lift Maintenance. This department is responsible for the safe transport of guests and employees on the mountain. The role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and grow with the department and build a career in the ski industry.
Requirements
- Prior general electrical experience, including the ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license
- Ability to work efficiently at heights
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with 24-Volt electrical systems helpful
- Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of lift related Industrial Controls, including Programmable Logic Controllers and Drives
- Utilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime, working closely with Lift Mechanics
- Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs
- Engage around priorities to foster engagement, collaboration, and results
- Follow safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Support the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
