About The Position

Brighton Resort is seeking fun, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Ski Instructors. This role is ideal for those who love skiing, enjoy working with people, and want to spend their days in the mountains. The resort provides training, support, and mentorship for new instructors, regardless of prior experience. Instructors will teach students of all ages and abilities in various program types, sharing their passion for snow sports and helping others discover the joy of skiing. Requirements

18+ years old
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Able to demonstrate beginner riding skills and ski/snowboard at an intermediate level
Willingness to work with students of a variety of ages, skills, and group size
Intermediate + skiing or snowboarding skills.
A growth mindset (an openness to learning and feedback)
Must submit a resume during the application process
Instructors will need to use personal phone for communication purposes, view schedule, contact guests at times and approve daily timesheets.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safety and learning of students in lessons.
Effective communication with students, parents, resort staff and guests.
Expected to teach students of all ages.
Engage in continuing education such as teaching tactics, sliding skills, and people skills.
Other duties related to the daily operation of the Snowsports School.
Ability to work outdoors in the winter mountain environment.
Able to consistently work in a physically strenuous and mentally demanding position for the full operating season.
Complete digital report cards for each student.
